15-Second Bio: Brian Lund (TMF Tardior) hangs out on the message boards and uses the (much smarter) people there to help him cobble together editorials that actually make sense. He came to the Fool after a long career in pointlessness. He earned his M.A. in Latin just in time to ride the '90s wave of hysteria for high-school Latin to a sweet job cramming declensions down uninterested children's throats. He worked for two years on the Barrington Atlas of the Classical World (due out in Sept. of 2000) before he tricked the poor, helpless Fool into giving him a new life.
