15-Second Bio: Richard McCaffery (TMF Gibson) is a writer at Fool HQ in Alexandria, Virginia. After graduating from the University of Buffalo with a bachelor's degree in English, Richard worked as a hotel night clerk in Yellowstone Park, a housepainter, a teacher, and a counselor at a wilderness school. In 1994 he started writing for a daily newspaper in Prince William County, Virginia. and he's been writing ever since. His favorite things are Brooklyn potato salad, Nathan's hot dogs, chicken wings at Duff's in Buffalo and the inconstant but worthy New York Knicks. He lives in Maryland with his wife Linda, who introduced him to steamed crabs and Old Bay seasoning, and who isn't much of a Knicks fan.
