Opening Move: 2/11/00I just discovered that all email sent to TGR in the past 3 weeks has been bouncing. The problem is now fixed and email should get through properly. If you sent any email to editor@gamereport.com in the past three weeks, it was not received so please resend it. Sorry for the inconvenience!Come join us for a scheduled live voice chat in the TGR chat room each Thursday at 7:30 PM Pacific time (10:30 PM Eastern). Meet fellow game players and discuss items of common interest! In other news, terrific photos of many of the new games just introduced at the Nuremburg toy fair are available at Spielerei. Opening Move: 2/7/00New games have entered my collection, which means it's time to make room by auctioning off some old ones. On the block this time are such games as the hard-to-find business game Schoko & Co., Sid Sackson's Samarkand, Reiner Knizia's Das Letzte Paradies, and many others. Go to TGR's online auction to bid.Opening Move: 2/1/00The Game Report Online is experimenting with a new feature-- live voice chat! This service is free and extremely cool. You need a Windows system to use it, and a microphone if you want to talk. You can listen in without a mike, and you can still text-chat even without a mike. In the future we hope to use this feature to coordinate live game discussions, live games, and other events. In the meantime, stop by and see who else is visiting TGROnline!Opening Move: 1/27/00Issue 22 has been mailed to subscribers, and issue 20 is now available online.I'm also pleased to announce the availability of Time's Up!, a new party game developed by me and published by R&R Games. Time's Up! is a packaged, streamlined version of the party game many of you may know as Celebrities. For years I've been saying that this game is the best party game I know, and I'm excited to be able to make it available to a general audience. The game retails for $19.95, but can be purchased for $15.95 from the TGROnline game store. - Peter |
