Automake is a tool for automatically generating `Makefile.in' files compliant with the GNU Coding Standards.
Automake requires the use of GNU Autoconf.

The mailing list automake@gnu.org is for discussion of Automake, Autoconf, and other configuration/portability tools (e.g., libtool). Write to automake-request@gnu.org if you want to join. Volume is typically low.
