Through this certification, Authorize.Net will expand its network of processors to reach Internet clients who comply with Vital's standards for direct connectivity to VirtualNet for real-time on-line payment transaction processing. Authorize.Net currently supports more than 57,000 online merchants.

Certification on VirtualNet brings fast, secure and affordable Internet transaction processing to Authorize.Net`s Independent Sales Organizations and Merchant Service Providers that use Vital's payment platform. Authorize.Net provides a server-based transaction processing system that enables all types of businesses to authorize, process and manage real-time credit card and electronic check transactions over the Internet. Utilizing Internet Protocol, Authorize.Net will have a secure transport for payment processing through VirtualNet.
