If you're an animator - amateur or pro, independent or studio, artistic or just twisted - we want your animations for Animation Express. We'll offer you international exposure and US dollars for your creative animated stories. Please, no lovely logos or looping animation buttons. We're on the lookout for little stand-alone stories that take our visitors on a mental vacation.

Technologies? Try us. We already know we like Flash, Shockwave for Director, QuickTime (and other video formats), Dynamic HTML, and GIF89s. But if you have great work in another format, we'll think it over.

For each of your animations that are accepted for the site, you'll receive an honorarium. And we'll ask you to sign a very fair contract allowing us nonexclusive rights to publish your artwork on our site. You retain the rights to publish the animations elsewhere.

All artwork should be compatible with both Mac and PC versions of Netscape 3 and 4 as well as PC versions of MSIE 3 and 4. Ideally, work will also be compatible with MSIE 4 for Macs, though this is not a requirement.

This is the Web, so we have to consider file size and download speed when we look at submissions. Therefore, we prefer animations less than 500 KB.

These are guidelines and by no means hard and fast rules. Rules don't excite us. We crave clean and fast artwork that will amuse and amaze our viewers.

Come to think of it, the only thing we really hate is a huge email attachment.

Ready to submit your work? The submission form awaits.
