This integrated hardware and software solution prevents unauthorized users from accessing information on a desktop computer. To access the system, users insert the authorized smart card into the card reader and type their 6 to 8 digit personalized PIN code. The user simply removes the smart card to prevent access to the system. The SmartCard Security Kit will be generally available in late October.
