A client/server gateway to the SMS protocol (short messages sent by mobile phones [GSM]). Requires specialized hardware (a serial GSM module like the ones from WaveCom, Falcom or Siemens). The server can be used interactively through telnet, or via a command-line client. As of this version, both sending and receiving SMS is supported. The server also supports the concurrent use of multiple GSM instances.

Last Changes: Version 0.52b brings a port of the command-line client to the Win32 platform through the use of the Cygwin libraries. The distribution archive now also features a contrib/ directory containing 2 more (native) Win32 clients.
