GNU Phantom.Home is a home automation system that's written in C++ and runs on Linux. Included is a simple electronic circuit that you buid. This device plugs into your computers parallel port. With this software you can control up to 8 normal home appliances (120V) using heavy-duty relays (from Radio Shack or wherever). Included is the Phantom.Homed daemon and Phantom.Home.Console interactive console control system. More packages are available for use with HTML, VRML, and HDML (turn on your hot tub from you cell phone... cool!!!)
