Invest In Yourself offers the opportunity for successful business persons, academicians, and professionals to participate in our Mentor Program for professional athletes. We believe that mentors provide athletes a unique and important view of various careers. We also believe that the mentor receives much in return from the athlete.

The following qualifications are required for those participating in the IIY Mentor Program:

Invest in Yourself is excited about the opportunity to work with the best athletes in the world. We believe that these athletes have much to offer society, not just on the athletic field. We also believe that most, if not all, athletes need assistance to nurture their skills and abilities.

To be an Invest in Yourself Mentor, you must agree to the following principles:
· Each athlete deserves to be treated with respect, honesty, and caring.
· All conversations with each athlete must be treated with sensitivity and strict confidentiality.
· Each Mentor is a role model for a given profession, career, or avocation.
· Each Mentor will not provide financial counseling or use his or her relationship with the athletes to gain a financial or personal advantage with the athlete.
· Each Mentor may not offer counseling in the areas of marriage, family, or drug rehabilitation.
