  Our customer service staff will provide answers to "general" tax law questions to assist you in preparing your return. This is NOT the place for highly complex tax issues or questions regarding your specific tax account. Specific tax account questions must be handled via the telephone (1-800-829-1040). If you have received a notice, letter or bill, please call the number provided on the correspondence.

• Mail me a blank Federal tax form, instruction or publication.
  It could take up to two weeks to receive any of these products via mail. Nearly all of these products are available for download from this site, from our TaxFAX, fax on demand service, or from our tax products CD-ROM.

• Technical Assistance
  If you are having difficulty searching the site, downloading files, printing downloaded products, installing or using the tax products CD-ROM, or any similar technical problem, here is the place to seek assistance.

• Reporting Tax Fraud
  If you have information about an individual or company you suspect is not complying with the tax law, please call 1-800-829-0433.

• Tax Return or Refund Status
  If you want to check on the status of a return or refund (must have been filed at least four weeks ago), please call 1-800-829-4477.
