Follow the tips below to save time and get more done using Microsoft Schedule+.
- If you like to carry your calendar with you, print out your Schedule+ Calendar. To include pages for days with no appointments or tasks in your printouts, select the Include Blank Pages option in the Print dialog box.
- For more legibility on dot matrix printers or FAX transmissions, select the No Shading option in the Print dialog box.
- Can't remember who is coming to your next appointment or why they are coming? After searching for Appointments, click the Edit button and view attendees, notes, and the daily planner.
- Trying to arrange a meeting from the Planner tab and don't know what all those appointments are? Right-click a blocked out area to see whose appointment it is, and then, if you have permission, view the appointment by clicking the black arrow.
- When working in group-enabled mode, you can open another person's appointment book by clicking the File Open button. If you want to access information in your archive, press and hold SHIFT, and then click the File Open button.
- View only the information you find useful by customizing the To Do, Projects, or Contacts list. Double-click a column and customize the columns using the Columns dialog box.
- Customize Schedule+ with the information you use most by double-clicking the Tab bar and using the Tab Gallery to add and remove tabs.
- To navigate to other days quickly on the Daily tab or the Planner tab, right-click the calendar, and select Go To Today or Go To Another Date.
- Need to know what appointments you have now? Press and hold SHIFT, and then click the Today button to go to the current day as well as the current time.
- Finished with a task? Cross it off your To Do list by double-clicking the column.
- Organize your tasks by changing their priority, grouping, or date. Go to the To Do list. Click Group By on the View menu, choose the way you want to view your tasks, and then drag your tasks to the different groups.
- Have a big meeting to organize? The Meeting Wizard helps you remember all the details when setting up meetings, including attendees, location, and equipment.
- Organize your time and focus more effectively using Stephen Covey's The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Click the Seven Habits Tools button, or select Seven Habits Quick Start on the Tools menu to begin.
- Download phone numbers, scheduling information, and contacts to your Timex DataLink watch. Just click the Timex Watch Wizard button to prepare to download the information you need.
- Need to view more than one month on your calendar? Drag the left edge of the calendar to make it bigger. Schedule+ shows as many months on the screen as there is room for.
- Make appointments, add a task, or add a contact to Schedule+ quickly, using the Office Shortcut Bar. Click Send a Message, Make an Appointment, Add a Task, or Add a Contact to go directly to the feature in Schedule+ that you need to use.
- You can personalize Schedule+ by adding a custom bitmap to the Cover tab. After adding the Cover tab, right-click it to add or scale a bitmap.
