Manager Of Quality Control / Chief Inspector
Job Location:

Job Requirements:
- Knowledgeable of FARs pertinent to Repair Station Operations Parts 43, 91,
135, and 145, Inspection Authorization, A&P License.
- Knowledgeable of FARs as pertinent to Interior, Paint, Maintenance and
Avionics Repair and Installation operations.
- 10 years aircraft maintenance /quality control experience preferred,
Business jet / Turboprop / Piston.
- 5 years experience as a chief inspector, supervisor / manager, of five or
more personnel. Experienced at defining and implementing quality control
procedures across multiple departments.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Computer Literate - Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Knowledgeable of
computerized maintenance tracking systems. Camps, CesCom Stars; Cams, etc.
Duties:
- Develop, grow, and maintain an efficient, effective quality control
department. Monitoring compliance with all applicable FARs Directing
workflow and coordinating with the multiple departments to promote maximum
efficiency of all departments.
- Ensure that recruiting, selection, orientation and training of new and
existing employees is being performed to achieve maximum retention and
career development. Hiring and training department personnel.
- Maintain department staff by coaching, counseling and disciplining
employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
- Establish an open line of communications with all customers. Resolving
customer complaints by investigating problems with respect to any and all
quality control decisions. Help with solutions that ensure customers have
received results that "Exceed their Expectations", but meet all FARs
regulations.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending seminars and
reviewing product trade publication.
- Develop, implement and manage quality control procedures. Ensuring
compliance with the daily routine recurring inspections as required by the
aircraft manufacturers in compliance with all applicable FARs
- Maintain effective dear communications with all FAA entities.
- Supervise and coordinate inspection and quality control activity on
individual discrepancies of customer aircraft for uncompromised quality,
compliance with FARs and maximum productivity.
- Coordinate, delegate and or prepare research on customer aircraft records.
- Oversee, conduct and or delegate compliance with - 1.) Final Inspection of
all aircraft and work orders. 2.) Prepare logbook entries and Return to
Service Authorization.
Compensation:
Hourly pay based on experience. Excellent benefit package.
