AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS INSTRUCTOR DC-10 (2 Positions)

Department:

QUALITY CONTROL MAINTENANCE TRAINING

Responsibilities:

Provide formal classroom training on Aircraft Systems.
Develop and revise training materials and training manuals as required by modification of current aircraft systems and/or changes in procedures in accordance with FAR 121.375.
Assist in research and publication of Maintenance Service Letters.
Assist in obtaining formal training and training material from outside vendors.
Provide technical support to Maintenance and Operations Departments.
Develop and maintain training manuals to qualify individuals for RII authorization i accordance with FAR 121.371.
Review current or suggested troubleshooting methods and implement these methods in the formal classroom training.
Maintain a complete compliment of technical and procedural manuals to adequately instruct both formal and line based courses.
Through reliability reports, monitor trends for systems that may have reliability increased by improved training.
Performs all duties as applicable within the scope of the standard practice and procedures set forth in this manual, the Manufacture's Maintenance Manual, and/or Overhaul Manuals and the FAR's.

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience on DC-10 aircraft.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in a 121 air carrier.
Must have A & P Mechanic License required (Attach Photo Copy)
Must have ability to read and interpret Federal Aviation Regulations.
Must have ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical maintenance data.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
General education required with classroom instruction and technical writing preferred.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must have excellent understanding of the EWA Maintenance Operation.
Excellent PC skills (Access, Microsoft Word, Excel).
Must be able to clearly relay accurate information to all concerned.
