Technical Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Investigate, analyze operating data, research technical data and provide
corrective action for aircraft maintenance technical problems including
recurring discrepancies, degraded performance of engines and components.
- Develop comprehensive analysis, coordinate through applicable Technical
Service Manger, and initiate supplemental remedial action.
- Analyze aircraft component vendor teardown reports to identify causes of
premature failures, and/or adverse negative trends formulate corrective
action plan to resolve, correct and promote high quality.
- Review daily, repeat aircraft discrepancies, and technically evaluate the
effectiveness of prior operations, maintenance troubleshooting, component
reliability, and implement corrective action through Maintenance Control
to promote dispatch reliability.
- Review EWA's FAA approved aircraft Maintenance/Reliability program and
conducts monthly/annual performance evaluations and develop/implement
program changes to improve dispatch reliability and reduce maintenance
cost.
- Coordinate with other airlines, aircraft/component manufactures and the
FAA in development of improvements to maintenance practices/programs as
required by FAA continuous airworthiness requirements.
- Analyze aircraft structural corrosion findings found during heavy
maintenance, to identify causes of corrosion and formulate corrective
action plan to maintain Level one corrosion and promote high quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years Technical Schooling in Aeronautical Maintenance or
equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of Heavy Jet Maintenance.
- Minimum of two years of Maintenance Reliability experience or equivalent.
- Previous Airline Aircraft/Maintenance and/or reliability experience.
- Must have an A&P Certificate. (ATTACH COPY)
- Must have knowledge of 121 Maintenance/Reliability Program.
- Must have knowledge of FAR.
- Must have PC computer knowledge with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and
Access).
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
