Maintenance Controller

Responsibilities:

Liaison between Maintenance, Operations Control, Flight Operations, Systems Control and Management.
Responsible for development of a work plant to coordinate, schedule record and ensure component availability for all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
Investigate and recommend corrective action for aircraft maintenance technical problems/recurring discrepancies.
Responsible for ensuring that needed repair parts an technically qualified personnel to repair a "DOWN"
Aircraft are dispatched and delivered in the shortest possible time.
Responsible for preparation and issuance technical status reports to management as required using approved forms.
Maintains an awareness of personnel duty and availability of parts and equipment at all stations through daily direct contact.
Performs all duties as applicable with the scope of the standard practice and procedures set forth in the Maintenance policy & Procedures Manual, the manufacturer's maintenance, and/or overhaul manuals, and the FAR's.

Requirements:

Two-three years Prior airline experience required. Prior Production Control and or Planning experience with Heavy Aircraft Maintenance in a 121 carrier preferred.
Prior experience reading, analyzing and interpreting technical procedures, maintenance manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and FAR.
Thorough understanding of spreadsheet tools and concepts with the ability to manipulate data to formulate a detailed analysis of the subject matter.
Must posses a valid FAA A&P certificate, valid state drivers license. (ATTACH PHOTO COPY)
PC / Computer experience required.
Excellent analytical/problem solving and decision making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be willing to work Weekends and Holidays any Shift

Compensation/Benefits:
