Structures/Installation Engineer(E)

Wichita, Kansas

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing expertise related to structural design and systems installation to support the development and certification flight testing aerospace products. Will produce engineering design drawings for the repair or modification of aircraft systems. Provide technical expertise related to test methods and procedures for these systems, review data obtained from ground and flight test systems and produce reports relating to testing. Prepare plans for troubleshooting aircraft/systems problems, and oversee the implementation of these plans by license aircraft mechanics.

Quailfications:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mechanical/aerospace engineering or related discipline. A minimum of 5 year's experience in aircraft structural design. Experience in flight testing of civil aircraft and good working knowledge of FAA and JAA certification requirements (FAR 25, JAR 25) Additionally, experience in stress analysis or Liaison engineering with MRB authority and maintenance (A&P) would be an advantage. Must have working knowledge of CATIA design software. Working knowledge of office automation software and plus.

Compensation/Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
