Director of Maintenance

Job Location:

Illinois

Skills/Experience Required:

Minimum of 15 years of recent general and corporate aviation experience.
Minimum of 10 years experience in FAR PART 135 and 145 regulatory compliance.
Experience in managing a maintenance shop in excess of 25 A&P mechanics.
Practical and management experience on both piston and turbine aircraft.
Experience with budgets and P&L greater than $7 million.

Education:

4 year degree.
A&P and FCC license required.

Job Description:

Manage an FAR PART 145 maintenance facility for piston and turbine corporate aircraft.
Develop new outside maintenance business.
Create strategic business plans consistent with corporate goals.
Hire, train and evaluate maintenance team personnel.
