Electrical Design Engineer

Job Location:

New Hampshire; Massachusetts; Maryland; New Jersey

Job Summary:

Positions exist with major aerospace companies on the East Coast for Engineers with experience in AC power systems and cabling design for fixed site and mobile tactical RF systems used by military and commercial customers.

Qualifications:

Requirements Include:
  • BSEE and 3 years experience
  • Development of requirements, concepts and specifications for AC power systems including *UPS's, E/G's, automatic transfer switches, transformers, power panels and AC wiring
  • Development of signal cabling requirements
  • Development of requirements and designs for lightning protection, surge protection, grounding and bonding
  • Working knowledge of National Electric Code (NFPA - 70)
  • DOD Secret Clearance - SBI desired
