Operations Analyst

Job Location:

Ft. Belvoir, Virgina

Responsibilities:

Responsible for tracking overall Land Warrior and Mounted Warrior day-to-day operations to include the documentation of program cost, schedule and performance. Deals with program management issues the coordination and staffing of documents and actions of the program office. Coordinates meeting at higher headquarters including the Pentagon. Individuals work directly in support of the Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager for Land Warrior and Mounted Warrior.

Education/Experience:

BA/BS Degree or 6 years of experience required. Must have had prior military or civilian experience working in positions the Pentagon. Must have recent working knowledge of the processes for acquisition programs and the decision making processes in the Pentagon. Past experience working with or on radio/communications or electronics programs is a plus. Applicant must have intermediate knowledge and ability using Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel and Power Point. Must be a skilled writer and speaker/briefer.

Special Requirements:

Must live in the Washington DC Metro area, work is on-site in the program office at FT. Belvoir VA.
