Job Location:

Nationwide - Opportunities exist in domestic and overseas locations. Overseas assignments can be located in exciting places such as Japan, England, Spain or Italy.

Job Summary:

Opportunities exist in a wide spectrum of Intelligence programs, including Special Warfare, Intelligence, Submarines, Computers, and Communications.

The intelligence occupational field includes maintaining, operating and repairing equipment used for aerial surveillance and electronic monitoring. The training ranges from basic knowledge to advanced systems. These systems include aircraft electronics and navigation, radar, sonar, search, and intelligence gathering, and computers for data analysis.

Duties:

Perform sensitivity, selectivity and power measurements for electronics equipment;
Work with circuit diagrams, blueprints and tracing logic flow diagrams;
Test equipment using voltmeters, ammeters, meggers and ohmmeters;
Repair laser electronics and infrared detection systems;
Use radar system for contact tracking;
Study aerial photographs of foreign ships, bases;
Operate and coordinate communications systems including automated networks, satellite data links, and the full spectrum of voice, teletype and data circuits;
Operate cryptographic equipment;
Maintain and repair interior communications equipment;
Use computers for storing and retrieving intelligence data;
Prepare intelligence reports, study radio signals to understand foreign military tactics;
Use special weapons and tactics for intelligence gathering;
Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language communications data.

Training:
Training for these jobs may include some of the following subjects: electronics, electricity, computer operation, machinery maintenance, blueprint reading, communications, applied mathematics, circuit theory, and systems maintenance.

Qualification Requirements:

Applicants must be a high school graduate less than 34 years of age, and in good health. Some specialties also require U.S. citizenship.

Compensation/Benefits:

In addition to a competitive salary, compensation includes comprehensive medical and dental benefits, 30 days vacation with pay earned each year, choice of higher education assistance programs, and employer-paid retirement. Some skill specialties offer a signing bonus of up to $11,000.
