Senior Functional Applications Analyst
Job Location:
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Responsibilities/Duties:
Provide technical and analytical support for the operational test and
evaluation of U.S. Navy combat systems. Responsible for the preparation of
TEMPs, Test Plans and Evaluation Reports for operational test and
evaluation programs. Assists the operational test director in planning for
and conducting operational tests of new acquisition systems. Develops test
scenarios, executes the test, collects data, analyzes data, and prepares a
report of conclusions and results with recommendations.
Qualifications/Experience:
BS in Science or Engineering related fields. Two years current experience
in the conduct of OT&E. Ability to apply analytical methodologies to
evaluating the operational effectiveness and suitability of Navy combat
systems. Current knowledge of Navy operational missions and tasking.
Minimum of 5 years proven expertise in specific warfare area (e.g. air,
surface, subsurface).; Non-essential skills/Desired: Modeling and
simulation applications to OT&E process desired.; Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of embarking Naval vessels for underway operations at sea
for extended periods.; Security clearance: Required, Secret.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
