PrivacyAlert! is personal advocate software that monitors individually tailored sensitive business or private information which users may not want to divulge or unwittingly leak to untrustworthy recipients or business competitors.
PrivacyAlert! provides one of several alerts or warning messages depending upon words and phrases stored in the user's customizable dictionary file. An alert is presented before information is sent via email or freely donated when a user provides information on a Web page form during a site registration visit. For businesses, an alert can be given to employees searching for unauthorized or non-business related sites. After the alert, users can modify, forward or withhold information.
PrivacyAlert! is compatible with Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups 3.11 or Windows95 in conjunction with 16 bit email or browser software. The 16 bit email or browser software must use the tcp/ip stack file winsock.dll.
