1998 Team Highlight Reels

The 1998 season was a magical one, especially for aging quarterbacks. Take a look back at a year that saw the re-emergence of Randall Cunningham and Vinny Testaverde, the return to the NFL of Doug Flutie, and the coronation of John Elway as back-to-back Super Bowl Champion. Not to be outdone by their elders, young quarterbacks like Peyton Manning and Charlie Batch also served notice that they will be forces to be reckoned with for years to come. The magicians at NFL Films have put together streaming highlight reels of the years that were for all 30 teams as well as a retrospective of all the great moments from the history of the team's 31st franchise — the Cleveland Browns. Super Bowl XXXIII Video
For the Super Bowl, NFL Films pulled out all the stops in bringing you the highlights. They've got all the big plays that made the game what it was. Tim Dwight made a huge impression as a rookie, piling up 210 return yards, including a marvelous 94-yard touchdown return the breathed life back into the Falcons. Or how about Howard Griffith? As the blocking fullback, the man was Terrell Davis' personal guide to a 2,000-yard season. He only had four carries and no rushing touchdowns in the first sixteen games, but in the big game, he had four rushes and 2 touchdowns. And speaking of two, Darrien Gordon was the defensive star, picking Chris Chandler off twice to seal Denver's victory and its second consecutive world championship. NFL Films
