Regulatory Reform

“Growth performance varies considerably across and within OECD countries. Ministers asked the OECD to study the causes of growth disparities, and identify factors and policies ….. which could strengthen long-term growth performance.”

With these words, OECD Ministers in May 1999 launched a two-year programme of work for the OECD Secretariat on economic growth. A first report [PDF 306KB] has been presented to them in June 2000, based on work carried out over the past 12 months, and a final report will be presented next year. The main subjects of these reports are featured on this site, and individual reports will be added as they become available.
