T.Rex-ES Rackmount Systems
The T.Rex-ES systems offer the complete T.Rex Opens Source Security Suite pre-installed on an industrial strength computer running a hardened OS. Pre-installed software coupled with a graphical user interfaces allows for easy product configuration. One year of software support is included. The hardware is covered by a three year limited warranty that covers parts and labor, with on-site next business day service response. In addition electronic hardware support services are available for the limited warranty period. 24x7 support is also available for an additional fee.
T.Rex-ES provides rock solid protection for heterogenous networks including MS Windows, MS NT, all versions of Unix, Linux, Apples, mainframes and other systems.
The T.Rex-ES systems are available in:
4 tower configurations, or
2 rack mount configurations designed for mission critical reliability and scalability
Pick one of the four basic models shown below. The software supports an unlimited number of users and is constrained only be the capacity of the hardware platform. The maximum number of concurrent users for each system is limited by the amount of RAM installed. The ESt is configured to support up to 300 concurrent web browsers, while the ESm2 is configured to support up to 700 concurrent web browsers. and the ES3 can support up to 1500 concurrent web browsers. The ESm3 is configured with dual 10,000 RPM Ultra SCSI disks configured to hold the web cache. This improves web performance and conserves the network bandwidth.

Pick one of the two rack mounted systems shown below. The software supports an unlimited number of users and is constrained only be the capacity of the hardware platform. The maximum number of concurrent users for each system is limited by the amount of RAM installed. The ESr1 is configured to support up to 700 concurrent web browsers, while the ESr2 is configured to support up to 1500 concurrent web browsers. Additional users can be supported by upgrading the amount of RAM. The ESr2 systems are configured with two high speed disk drives. Use of web caching may require thee addition of more high speed drives to support the cache I/O rate. Caching dramatically improves web performance and conserves the network bandwidth.
The T.REX-ESr rack mount systems provide advanced availability features to provide high levls of availability for mission critical applications. This includes hot swap power supplies, cooling fans and disk drives and advanced memory technology with improved Error Checking Correction technology.
