5/7/99 Developer Training - Palm Computing is pleased to announce two offerings of our intensive, hands-on developer training course, Palm OS™ Programming Essentials. This course, designed to turn C programmers into Palm OS programmers in just 5 days, is a must for anyone who wants to develop Palm OS applications using Metrowerks CodeWarrior®. Sessions in June and August, 1999.
5/3/99 Metrowerks - You many have seen the announcement from Metrowerks about changes to CodeWarrior releases and support.
The product "CodeWarrior for Palm Computing Platform" is now a Palm Computing product and will not be affected by those changes. "CodeWarrior for Palm Computing Platform" will still have free one-year support for registered users and continue to be released as a single product compatible with Windows and Mac OS platforms.
Additionally, Palm Computing will continue to honor paid subscriptions (for the next two releases) from cards included in the CodeWarrior Release 5 upgrade. The only change to "CodeWarrior for Palm Computing Platform" is that there will now be one major release per year. Factory Upgrades (interim downloadable updates containing enhancements and bug fixes) will take the place of the free upgrade to the next version for registered users. Thank you for your continuing support.
4/26/99 Knowedge Base - Palm Computing Platform Development Technical Services is pleased to announce the Development Support Knowledge Base! The Knowledge Base is a searchable database that includes a wealth of information including: frequently asked questions, Palm Computing platform documentation, white papers, technical notes, presentations, and sample code.
