This service is free if have a current Telephone Support Contract with Premier Business Solutions. Software Only contract holders and users with no current contract: fees are $100 per hour, billed in 15 minute increments of $25.00.

Premier Business Solutions offers support contracts for SSD users, Support hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST, M-F. On-line support is also available using Procomm Plus. Call for more information.

Our Service Department has over 20 years experience with computers & peripherals. Repair and maintenance is done on-site or at our office.

Training for the SSD programs is provided at your office. We want our clients to be able to utilize their software to the fullest extent possible.

Support Issues
The following fixes and updates appear in date order, the newest at the top.

The following support issues have been reported:

Current Issues:
Error 64: appears in various places - Job reports, payroll reports, accounting reports. This happens when running SSD on a network (the program runs from a network drive). This is just a nuisance, your reports will print fine.

941 has large adjustment amounts in line 6 and or line 9: This usually occurs when one or more of your employees reaches the yearly FICA limit.
Fix: Install the newest 941.ZIP dated 3/29/99.

January 1999 Updates
1) Purchase Orders Program: When preparing to print a purchase order you push <P> to print, then select the report type and hit enter.  The screen becomes blank. 
Work-around: Just hit the <ENTER> key again, and the menu for selecting the report parameter will come up.
Fix: 3/16/99 - Download the newest Purchase Order files: PO2, PO3, and PO4.

2) G/L Detail / Trail Balance: The G/L Detail and/or Trail Balance is not showing activity.  This may be for any current month (open).
Work-around: Try running the report for just one month (example: 12/1998 to 12/31/1998). This works for most cases.
Fix: 3/16/99 - Download the newest TRIAL.ZIP file.

3) Payroll: There have been a couple of problems reported:

a) After entering hours for Hourly Employees, if you go to view the "Display/Edit Hours Entered" hours are not showing (This was reported for employees who had hours posted to jobs).
Work-around: The hours are being reported properly. You can check by Calculating the paychecks and then go to "Process Pending Checks" and "Display/Edit/Add Pending Checks".

b) Employee Contributions are not appearing on the check stubs.
Fix: 3/16/99 - Download the latest PAYROLL.ZIP file.

4) W2's: Line spacing is not right when printing on a laser printer.
Fix: 3/16/99 - Download the fix: W2.ZIP.
