The Authors

Susan Williams has been an amateur naturalist for many years now. She is cofounder of Golden West -- one of America's premier Women's Flyfishing clubs -- and wrote a column in California Flyfisher magazine. Susan is the owner of Susan M Williams Research and Discovery USA.

Ari Kornfeld, the primary author of this site, is an avid photographer and naturalist. Ari's formal training is in computer science; he has been a part of the computer industry for over 10 years now.

Both Susan and Ari have returned to school to study the natural sciences at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California.

Perspective Periodicals was created 1994 to help provide fresh perspectives on our relationship to nature.
