New SDK Updates Posted!

The latest update to many of the major interfaces in the SDK has been posted on out support site. Components updated include: ActiveX Controls, Pervasive Direct Access Controls for Delphi and C++ Builder, JDBC driver, and the Java Class Library. Each has its own readme available from the above link to let you know about the fixes and enhancements, so check it out.

Do you know about the new Knowledge Base?

This Knowledge Base has been revamped using a problem resolution and knowledge management software, which uses associative problem-solving technology to perform contextual search. You can utilize this knowledge base to quickly find the answers to your questions about Pervasive products!

DevTalk version 2 released!

A brand new release of the DevTalk web discussion board has been rolled out on the Pervasive website just for you, our developers. Cool new features of this release are: ability to subscribe via email to an individual thread, or to the entire discussion group, ability to email or print a particular thread, complete sorting by subject/author/date, and more! Also, the much celebrated Tango-Talk mailing list has been completely integrated, allowing you to respond to Tango-Talk via the DevTalk boards in addition to email.

JDBC puts Pervasive.SQL 2000 on the Linux Desktop

Since the release of Pervasive.SQL 2000 Server for Caldera, RedHat and SuSe Linux, the Pervasive Developer Solutions group has been working to allow our developers create complete systems in Linux based on Pervasive.SQL 2000. The Pervasive.SQL JDBC driver represents the first step in that process, giving Linux developers the ability to create powerful, cross-platform applets and applications on Linux, Mac, Solaris, and Windows JVM's. JDBC is only the first step in our ongoing support of Linux developers; plans for other interfaces are in the works, so stay tuned!
