[01/19/2000]: phpChat 1.0b has been released!
Due to public demand, a first working version of phpChat, a PHP chat-server, has been released. This is still a beta but functional regarding the implemented features. Check it out!

[01/06/2000]: phpIRC 1.1 has been released!
This version features idle callbacks, optional socket timeouts as well as the possibility to choose between blocking and non-blocking sockets.

A few, minor bugs have been fixed, but already the last version has proven to be very stable - this should be even better!

[12/12/1999]: phpAds 1.3.0 released
phpAds 1.3.0 has been released today. This update introduces some new features, new statistics and many bugfixes. For a full list of changes, please consult the ChangeLog.If you're using a previous version of phpAds, you're advised to upgrade after reading the UPGRADE file.

[12/05/1999]: phpMyAdmin 2.0.5
phpMyAdmin 2.0.5 has been released. This version fixes some bugs and introduces a new feature, the possiblity to upload SQL dumps via file upload. Please have a look at the ChangeLog for a full list of changes.

[11/14/1999]: phpIRC 1.0 - First stable version!
First stable version of phpIRC has been released.

Lots of new functionality and all bugs fixed.

[10/20/1999]: MySQL 3.23.5 released
TCX says: "We have hoped that this would be a beta release, but as we just fixed an bug in the index handling in MyISAM, we can't upgrade it to beta yet :( If there isn't any fatal bug founds in this version for a couple of week we will upgrade MySQL 3.23 to beta." [10/10/1999]: phpMyAdmin 2.0.4 is out!
Version 2.0.4 of phpMyAdmin has been released. This is a maintenance release, fixing some rather nasty bugs. phpMyAdmin 2.0.4 is the most stable version so far and you're encouraged to upgrade if you're affected by the bugs described in the ChangeLog.

[09/28/1999]: MySQl 3.23.4 released
TCX has released MySQL 3.23.4. The most important fix in this version is the SUM() fix. More information can be found at the MySQL homepage.

[09/26/1999]: phpAds 1.2.0 released
This release features better and graphically nicer statistics as well as some other improvements and bugfixes. Please see the ChangeLog for a complete list of changes. If you're using an older version of phpAds, you're encouraged to upgrade.

MySQL 3.22.26 was released a couple of days ago. More details are available at http://www.mysql.com.

[09/02/1999]: phpIRC has been released!
Initial release of the IRC layer

[08/29/1999]: MySQL 3.20.32a released as GPL
MySQL 3.20.32a was released as GPL at 1999-08-22. (http://www.mysql.com/news.html). This means that MySQL (at least this version:) is now Open Source.

TcX will continue to release older releases of MySQL as GPL from time to time...

[08/26/1999]: phpAds is Best of Linux!
phpAds has won the Best of Linux Award at DaveCentral on August 23rd, 1999.

[08/25/1999]: phpPolls 1.0.3 released
- now features IP locking and logging!
- removed bug that made phpPolls display incorrect results under some circumstances
- other minor changes, see the changelog

[08/22/1999]: phpAds 1.1.0
This update of phpAds eliminates the need to alter PHP's include_path and makes it possible to use remote banners, referenced by URL, instead of banners stored directly in MySQL. Please see the ChangeLog for a list of all changes.

[08/21/1999]: PostgresAdmin 2.0
Rob Casson has updated his PostgresAdmin, based on phpMyAdmin 2.0.2. This is not an official version, but if you've installed Postgres, you may want to try it.

[08/15/1999]: phpMyAdmin version 2.0.3 has been released!
This is mostly a maintenance release fixing some bugs, but there are two small new features:

• It should be much easier for ISP to set up a central copy of phpMyAdmin for their users now as phpMyAdmin displays only those databases a user has actually the permissions to access (if using $adv_auth).
• phpMyAdmin is the only graphical client to have support for MySQL 3.23's table comments :-).

[07/25/1999]: phpAds 1.0
Version 1.0.0 has been released! This is the first stable release after three beta versions; it introduces some significant enhancements, such as support for keywords (groups of banners). Please see the ChangeLog for a list of all changes. Warning: Banners from version 0.9.4 can't automatically be used with this version.

[07/13/1999]: phpPolls 1.0.2
Version 1.0.2 has been released. Changes since version 1.0.1:

• a new function, poll_getResults(), allows retrieval of a poll's results into an array so you can code your own visualization routines
• some minor cleanup has been done with phpPolls producing bad-style HTML
