We are looking for senior architects and developers with innovative ideas but disciplined approaches, with competence in: Java (esp. distributed, RMI, InfoBus, Aglets, JavaSpaces, JMS, etc), agent and mobile technologies, imaging algorithms, streaming media, IIP, FlashPix, JPEG, JVM-level coding, app servers, Voyager or Concordia, EJB, CORBA/IIOP, COM, XML-RPC, XML, JPython, object databases, XA, and multiplatform development and deployment; experience with UNIXes/LINUXes, BeOS, QNX desirable, as is experience with JMF and/or JAI packages. Strong knowledge of Beans and component-based development is mandatory.

    Essentially the product will be a distributed Java or EJB app server, with mobile agents possibly supported through Aglets, Voyager or Concordia, and extensible through JPython scripting; CORBA, RMI, COM, XML-RPC, JDBC/ODBC and other interfaces will be available to support integration with other systems. If JPython works well for us, we may extend its use into core functionality as well.
