Business on the World Wide Web -- where "word of keystroke" begins

Weekly chat session with Richard Seltzer, Thursdays 12 noon-1 PM (US Eastern Time = GMT -5). Connect to the Web-Net Web site http://www.web-net.org Once you are there, click on "Richard Seltzer's Chat: Business on the World Wide Web." Web-net is a free business networking user group -- people who learn, share and grow using the Web. The chat room will be open at all times, but the scheduled time is when we'll all plan to be there. Complete, edited transcript of all past sessions are available here. See hyper-linked list below.

The once and future Internet: Here you'll see the Internet the way it was and should be: useful information for free, with no advertising, and no annoying graphics or glitz. Enjoy and spread the word.

Please send email with your follow-on questions and comments, and suggestions for topics we should focus on in future sessions. So long as the volume of email responses is manageable, I'll post the most pertinent ones here for all to see.

These sessions are hosted by Richard Seltzer seltzer@samizdat.com . If you would like to receive email reminders about upcoming sessions, please send email.

This is one of the longest-running chat programs on the Web. (Please let us know if you know of ones that are older.) We've been doing this for over three years -- since June 1996.

This year, in parallel with the chat program, Richard do a 5-minute weekly radio segment on "The Computer Report," which is heard live on WCAP in Lowell, Mass., and is syndicated on WBNW in Boston and WPLM in Plymouth, Mass, and will also available as RealAudio at www.thereport.com He will base each week's five-minute segment on a recent chat discussion. He will also turn that same five-minute segment into a weekly article for posting at this site and for distribution to other sites through iSyndicate www.isyndicate.com.

How can we help you? Richard Seltzer is an independent Internet writer/speaker/consultant. Click here for details.
