Third Voice Groups  The
Third Voice groups feature allows you to communicate and collaborate
with groups of people who share common interests. These groups
are virtual communities that engage in discussions across the
Web.
You can create a Third Voice group to plan a group vacation,
discuss parenting issues, collaborate on a group project at work,
swap notes and ideas for a school project, discuss the upcoming
elections or vent on anything! There are two types of Third Voice groups:
- Private Groups - Private groups have restricted membership.
To join a private group, you must be invited by the group's
administrator. You can create your own private group with your
family and friends. You cannot read notes that have been posted
to a private group unless you are one of its members.
- Open Groups - Any registered Third Voice user can join an
open group. Open groups are listed throughout the Third Voice
Web site. If you find a group that interests you, you can immediately
sign up and start participating in thought-provoking discussions!
If you don't find a group that suits your interests, create
your own open group and invite other Third Voice users to join!
