SUMMER INSTITUTE 1999:
Integrating Culture into the Ukrainian Language Classroom
ULEC cordially invites educators of Ukrainian and other target languages to participate in our SUMMER INSTITUTE 1999.
This workshop is designed to:
- Provide professional development for Ukrainian Bilingual teachers, curriculum developers, resource developers, administrators, and program leaders
- Help develop a foundation for the establishment of a cultural curriculum for the Ukrainian language and culture programs in Alberta.
This workshop runs August 3-6, 1999 and will be held at the University of Alberta campus (Edmonton, AB Canada).
The cost of this workshop is $115 (cdn) and includes all materials fees.

Join Our Mailing Lists
ULEC has created two mailing lists aimed at Ukrainian Language Educators: our general list, ulec-list, is an open forum where teachers can ask questions to their peers regarding classroom techniques and teaching topics. Our second list, ulec-announce, keeps you up-to-date with news and product announcements of interest to Ukrainian Langauage teachers. Best of all, these services are free, you need only subscribe.
