The following is the list of browsers that
are supported by the Webvan Web site:
- Internet Explorer 3.02 or better
Netscape 3.01 or better
AOL 4.0 (32 bit or Mac) or better
- We do not support the 16 bit
version of AOL, or any earlier versions of AOL only because
of their default browser. You can use any version of AOL, as
long as you use either IE 3.02 (or higher) or Netscape 3.01
(or higher). Please call Customer Service at 1-800-799-4999
if you have any questions.
The reason we don't support earlier browsers
is that we make use of frames, cookies, JavaScript, and other
features that are not implemented in earlier versions of these
browsers. |

Enabling JavaScript |
|
To enable JavaScript:
- In Netscape 3.0.1 to 3.04, from the
Network Preferences/Languages screen under the Options
menu.
In Netscape 4.0 or higher, from
Preferences under the Edit menu, select 'Enable JavaScript' from
the Advanced tab.
In Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 or
higher, select either 'Low", "Medium", or
"High" from the Options/Security screen under the View
menu.
Note: After you've enabled JavaScript, you must
close all your browser windows and start a new browser for it to
take effect.
