QuickTime Text Track

Here you can specify basic text attributes such as font, font size, font alignment, font style, font color, and background color. The text track width and height can also be set here as well as other characterisitcs such as Anti-Alias and Drop Shadow.

Importing a Text File:

1.  Launch QuickTime Player and select 'Import' from the File menu option. Select the 'Options...' button which will produce the following dialog box:

2.  Basic text attributes can be determined here, such as font, size, alignment, and style. You can also determine the width, height, text color and background color.

3.  Click 'OK.' Enter a file name with the .mov extension where it says, 'Save Converted File as:'

4.  By exporting the text track while in QuickTime Player, you will be able to modify the text descriptors and time stamps to alter the behavior of the track.
