About TraX:
TraX is a utility to find files on your disks. It is similar to the BeOS "Find..." tool, but it is able to search Non BeOS (BFS) disks, (eg Windows disks). It can also search within specified directories, and has a fairly easy to use format. Two different frontends exist (TraX and FastTraX) to cater to different tastes
Ever wanted to find a file on your Windows hard drive?
Annoyed by the fact that BeOS can only search on BFS disks? Annoyed by people telling you to use the 'find' tool in the terminal?
TraX can solve that for you.
Fast and easy to use, TraX gives you the ability to perform fairly complex searches without turning to the command line. And it's scriptable.
Documentation is included, and it's all free.
The program comes with a basic, but usable installation script, so installing is easy too.

Some UI improvements, a couple crashers-fixed, and some customisation

* Find is the default button
* A "Barber Pole" shows while a search is in progress
* ALT-N for a new window
* Settings to hide some clutter
* Allow reulsts to be displayed via Tracker
A handful of crashes fixed in both TraX and FastTraX.

* Hide some of the popups in TraX.
