About X11R6.3:
This is a binary distribution of the x86 conversion of the
BeOS X11 port by Achim Blumensath.
To install these packages, create a directory X11R6.3 in
/boot/apps/GeekGadgets, unzip the archives there, and
read the README.BeOS in the binary archive. It's meant for
the source distribution, but I think it's still applicable.
You also have to link /usr to point to /boot/apps/GeekGadgets.
Note that it can be a little flaky on startup, but it
should work after a few tries. It should be much more
stable when actually running.

Details about this version:
Brian Swetland posted a solution which fixes all of the
problems. Apparently they all stemmed from incorrect
endianness, and now the server is actually usable.
I've updated the binary and library archives with
recompiled binaries.
