What's all this, then?

This is mozilla.org's bug-tracking system, our database for recording bugs in Mozilla and other mozilla.org projects. For more information about Bugzilla, see our bug page.

This is not the place to report bugs about commercial Netscape products. For that, try Netscape's own bug reporting form instead. Netscape bugs reported here will be ignored. (Netscape browsers usually have a blue and black `N' logo in the top right of the window.)

When reporting a bug

• Read the Bugzilla fact sheet so you know what you're doing.
• Open a Bugzilla account if you don't have one already.
• Make sure you can reproduce the bug, and explain to others how to reproduce it as well. If engineers can't reproduce your bug, they won't be able to fix it.
• Read the bug reporting guidelines to learn how to write bug reports that get bugs fixed.
• Make sure your bug hasn't already been reported. Consult the list of most frequently reported bugs, and search for bugs matching the one you've found.
• Use the Bugzilla Helper to report bugs. This form helps you write well written bug reports.
