NetTime Thingy is the webmaster's answer to a prayer.
PC's --
even new ones -- are notorious for having wandering
clocks, chronically (so to speak) losing a minute here, a
minute there. When your PC and your server start
getting out of whack on time, it can cause all sorts of
problems with accurate updating, checking files, etc.
Before we found this neat utility, we used to have to
manually tweak our PC's before every single website update
file exchange!
Set it up,
pick a time server -- bang-zoom, you can keep your PC (for
a change) "on time, all the time" -- just like
we do!
