InterQuick (IQ) is a combination Web accelerator and content filtering application. Its "intelligent" Web acceleration capabilities are made possible by two built-in tools, IQfetch and IQschedule, both of which utilize a Web and DNS caching system to expedite the retrieval of Internet content. The second of InterQuick's two functions, content filtering, is also accomplished through the use of two built-in tools; in this case the tools are IQfilter and IQblock.
The client itself is now available in three editions: InterQuick Lite, InterQuick Pro, and InterQuick Pro Network. The Lite version is a freeware application that provides a single user access to one IQ feature at a time. The $39.95 Pro release allows access to all InterQuick features for a single user. Finally, the Pro Network edition allows an entire network of users to share all the features available in InterQuick. Pricing for InterQuick Pro Network starts at $59.95 for a three-user license and scales up to $699.95 for an unlimited-user license.
