orbitabergamo

The Orbita Bergamo 40 is a necessity for watch junkies. The Bergamo 40 hides 40 watches in a disappearing watchwinder that is also a handsome wood cabinet. A remote-controlled mechanism raises or lowers the watchwinder module on command and the 40 watchwinders inside keep your automatic watches running smoothly. The decorative piece of furniture is available in Madrona Burl, Mahogany Parquet or Brazilian Rosewood.

$$$$Theo Kalomirakis Theaters

TK TheatersIf you think the picture on the right is from a top notch public theater, think again. Home theater designer Theo Kalomirakis, considered by many to be at the forefront of his market, runs an ultra high end design firm which specializes in bringing the theater experience to the home.

Theo Kalomirakis Theaters create media room environments fashioned around all sorts of themes, from Art Deco to Contemporary. All of Kalomirakis’s creations work to “lure the audience away from everyday life into a tantalizingly polished and detailed space” and prepare those entering “almost ritualistically for the proper experience of the movie.”

Examples of some of Kalomirakis’s rooms can be found here.

$$Earthflora Giant Christmas Trees

faketree

Christmas tree season often means dealing with the sap, needles and general hassle of having a cut tree in your house.  But the idea of artificial trees usually conjures up visions of sparse fake branches.  Earthflora trees look like real trees and come in a wide variety of sizes.  They will even do custom colors for the truly non-traditional.  Their Deluxe Virginia Pine is thirty feet tall and comes strung with over 8,000 clear lights.  Perfect for larger homes or businesses where a real tree would be inconvenient.

Fortune’s List of The 25 Best Products of the Year

r7golfclub

Fortune has come out with a list of the 25 best products of the year. My favorites include the Bodum glass mugs that are doublewalled clear glass that both insulates the drink and protects your hands from burning, the new Airsteam trailer, the Oakley Thump MP3 sunglasses and this R7 Quad Golf Club. I hope it has a no-slice, no-wormburner function.
