McNown will make first start
Cade McNown will become the third of the rookie quarterbacks to make his first NFL start Sunday when the Bears host the Eagles. Regular starter Shane Matthews suffered a pulled hamstring in last Sunday's 24-22 win at Minnesota and is out for this weekend's game. McNown, the 12th overall pick, has played in each of Chicago's first five games. On Sunday, McNown completed 9-of-14 passes for 97 yards after replacing the injured Matthews. In five games, McNown is 19-of-34 for 216 yards.
