User modifications are the bread and butter of the online gaming community. No matter how much you like Quake2 deathmatch, or enjoy spending
time beating up on aliens in Half-Life, sooner or later you're bound to get bored with it. Rather than simply tossing your forty dollar game
onto a shelf somewhere and forgetting about it, modifications allow you to get a whole new gaming experience with a few free downloads.
We love mods at GameSpy, so it should come as no surprise that we've decided to gather up the best of the best for several games and list
them off for your reading pleasure. Take a look at a few, and we promise you'll understand exactly why it is they're so popular. With the Quake series,
Half-Life, Starsiege: Tribes, and Unreal/Unreal Tournament being the most popular online games at the moment with modifications available to
them (according to our stats page), these are the games we've chosen to feature. We'll be wrapping the week
