How does the Ad Square work?
When your page loads, the Ad Square appears in the top right-hand corner of your browser. The ad has three states. The initial state is a 130x110 image, a Yahoo! GeoCities logo, and any of the additional features that you've customized.

If a visitor clicks on the ad, it will expand to a third state illustrated below: |

By clicking on the "X" in the top right-hand corner of the Ad Square, the ad can be removed from the page, allowing visitors to view the portion of your content that may be underneath the Ad Square.
The Ad Square has several useful features from which you can choose to customize for your page:
- View my Profile - Links to your Yahoo! Profile
- Send Me a Message - Allows visitors to send you instant messages using Yahoo! Messenger
- Send Me Email - Enables visitors to send you email to the address of your choice
- My Neighborhood - Links to your Neighborhood's main page
- Sign My Guestbook - Allows your visitors to sign your Guestbook.
- Send This Page - Allows visitors to send your page to a friend
NOTE: To protect children, the following features are unavailable to EnchantedForest Homesteads:
Send Me a Message, Sign My Guestbook, View My Profile, and Send Me Email.
Can I choose to serve a GeoGuide instead of an Ad Square on my page?
Yes. The GeoGuide will once again serve ads. Placing a GeoGuide on your page
will stop both the Ad Square and Pop-Ups.
What will happen to Pop-Ups?
The GeoGuide will replace Pop-Ups for all browser versions. The Ad Square will
replace Pop-Ups for all visitors using version 4.0+ browsers. If you have an
Ad Square and a visitor views your page with a browser that isn't at least
version 4.0, a Pop-Up ad will appear. Unfortunately, older browsers are
incapable of understanding the Ad Square's technology.
What will happen to the GeoGuide?
The GeoGuide will once again serve advertiser banners along with member
banners. Placing a GeoGuide on your page will stop both the Ad Square and
Pop-Ups. Customizable features such as "Sign My Guestbook" and "Send This
Page" will be integrated into the Ad Square.
Will the Ad Square appear on GeoPlus and GeoShops pages?
No.
Will the Ad Square appear in all my frames?
No, the Ad Square is visible in only the largest frame of your frame set.
