Local legend Mattress Mack financed this Chuck Norris film about a kid and his hero. Not deep, but a good quality story that will stir a kid's heart.
Terms of Endearment
It swept the Academy Awards, with Shirley MacLaine, Jack Nicholson, and Debra Winger in a compelling story (set in River Oaks) about love, intimacy, and family. Great movie.
