Jason Zien

Jason Zien is a computer science researcher at
IBM Almaden Research Center
in San Jose, CA.
Experience: Jason has worked as an Internet
software developer and computer
consultant since 1994. He has done time at several
small Internet start-ups,
including Internet Media Services, W3.COM (no longer the same
company), and BuyMedia.
Jason has extensive experience with Linux, the Internet, and
software development in C, C++, Java,
CGI programming, and databases.

Carnegie Mellon
University, where he received my B.S. in Computer Engineering.
Since then, he has received an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer
Engineering from the
University of California, Santa Cruz
Other Interests: Jason enjoys exploring
new places, watching movies, reading about variety of topics,
and photographing people and places.
