LDN Backend
We had several enquiries for a file containing the
latest LDN headlines. Well, we have good news. It's now available
at : http://linuxdev.net/archive/headlines.txt.
This text file will always contain the 10 latest news headlines
at LDN, and it's been formatted for easy extraction. If you want
a Perl script to help you extract/format LDN headlines, just drop
me an email. Those of you
who are using PHP should check out the PHP script from The
Backend or Newsbackend
Interfaces for PHP.

Dev.Links Remote Rating
If your web site is listed in Dev.Links,
you can add a remote rating form on your web site to let your visitors
rate your site. Links listed in Dev.Links with high ratings will appear
in the Dev.Links Top Rated page, and the link itself will also
show the rating. This helps to drive more traffic to sites that are
highly rated. Below are two examples of how a rating form looks like.
The following sample rating forms allows you to rate
the Gnome web site.
You can download the HTML code samples for the rating
forms by clicking on the above links. We do not have any restrictions
on how you modify the form to suit your site. The important thing
is that it still works after you are done with the modifications.
