Greetings all,
Have a read of the Mahdi Challenge review, an interesting one if you fancy yourself as a bit of a messiah.
Please bear with me if the updates are slow, I've got exams over the next two weeks, but we should be taking on a second map reviewer in the near future, so that should really get things rolling.
Finally, I'd like to officially apologise to Jurrian de Valk for my inadvertantly dergatory remarks towards Domination. I did at no point intend to slate it, and all please note that he's working as we speak to sort out the lack of tileset support for some language versions, which astonishingly no-one reported to him! Please remember to help software developers out by reporting any problems you have; their contact details will usually be in the accompanying readme or help file. I've also tried out the newest Domination update and it now allows you to move your edit frame using the radar map, which should make map making a lot easier.

Just posted reviews of FFields and Equal Opportunity. Sadly, I've had to put off a couple of map reviews, one to a bug I haven't yet worked out, and another to the problem with Domination and tilesets. I'm about to have a play around with the new SH2K, since it may be the way forward for those of you using the extra tilesets. Watch this space, and post your ideas for map awards on the messageboard, or e-mail them to me.

Hello again, hail five more reviews: Fremen Spice Project, Atreides Homeland, Harkonnen Wasteland, Kulon Ridge and Sentry Ridge.
I'm using a slightly new system with the "Top 5" page now, since I foresee a lot of ties with maps gaining equal review scores, so now, in the event of a tie, the newer map takes higher place.
Also, some of you may know that the tilesets available in Domination don't work with all national versions of Dune 2000, and I take this into account when reviewing.

I got home in the early hours, and had a quick look at the site, and was pleased to see two more maps. I had to sleep first, but the reviews are here, both by authors I don't think I've seen before. See what I had to say for Desert Trap and Overlord Land.

Right, just put up two more reviews, I'm sorry I've been inactive for such a long time, I've been up to my neck in various work recently, and as far as gaming goes I've been at the War of the Worlds strategy (those of you planning to make another Dune game might do well to take some of its features into account). Now, because I'm not quite used to the updating process yet, there may well be some problems or ommissions I haven't yet spotted. If you notice anything wrong please e-mail me.
The other issue is the mass of maps I've left unreviewed. Well, in an effort to keep up with the times, I shall henceforth review new releases, unless there are any maps anyone still really wants to have reviewed, in which case you should, again e-mail me, and I'll see what I can do. Another thing to note is that I won't review maps which cannot be activated using Shai-Hulud 2000, and if I have to choose between a lot of maps, those with accompanying text files will have preferential treatment.

Greetings from a faraway land. I'm really glad to be here in person, and I daresay I'll settle firmly into Sihaya-Tuek in the near future. Just to let all know that I'm going to try to review maps within a week (or so) of their release, and better-looking ones will have priority - and please get into the habit of including .txt files with them. I'll post again when I've made some progress.
